Inspired by the classic boxed dinner many families grew up with, this hearty skillet meal delivers creamy, cheesy comfort — made the Balanced Nutrition 360 way. Seasoned ground beef and pasta cook together on the stovetop, then are finished with real, organic cheese for a rich, nostalgic flavor. A simple, family-style dinner made with real ingredients and minimal prep.
Cooking Instructions
- For best flavor and texture, thaw overnight in the refrigerator. This allows the ingredients to self-marinate during the thaw.
- Once fully thawed, remove cheese from the kit and set aside.
- Pour the pasta and meat mixture into a large stove top pot. Add 7 cups of water. Bring to boil, cover, and cook over medium heat for approximately 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture begins to thicken, pasta nearly done, and internal temperature of ground beef reaches 165°F. You can add ½ cup more or less water to reach the
desired thickness — pasta will thicken as it cools. - Reduce heat to low, remove the lid, and stir in the cheese.Continue cooking uncovered for 5–10 more minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and the pasta is tender.

Pro Tips!
- If you prefer a looser, creamier texture, add a small splash of milk or cream toward the end of cooking and stir to adjust consistency.
- Great for leftovers; the flavors continue to develop after resting. Just add a little water or milk when reheating.
- Forgot to thaw? This pasta can be cooked from frozen. Start on low heat with about ½ cup extra water, start on low for a short time, then bring to a boil and finish cooking as usual.
