French Onion Chicken Bake

Chicken tenderloins bake alongside deeply caramelized onions in a rich, savory sauce inspired by classic French onion soup. It’s the kind of cozy, home-style comfort food you crave that is deeply flavorful, satisfying, and surprisingly healthy.

  1. 1. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator to allow flavors to develop.
  2. Preheat oven to 450°F. Remove cheese from the kit and set aside.
  3. Preheat a large oven-safe pan over medium-high heat and lightly coat with avocado oil, if needed. Add chicken
    and seasonings. Sear chicken for 2–3 minutes per side.
  4. Add 4–6 cups water, depending on desired broth consistency. Transfer pan to oven and bake 25-30 minutes,
    or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Remove from oven, top evenly with cheese, and return to oven for 5–10 minutes, until cheese is fully melted.
  6. Let rest 3–5 minutes before serving.
